The event was broadcasted by TV Justiça – a television and internet channel managed by the Brazilian Supreme Court – and discussed Alex Rafael Höffling’s paper on the development of credit unions in Brazil from 2003 to 2011. Ivo Gico Jr. talks about Corruption and Game Theory at CGU

Dr. Ivo T. Gico Jr. made a presentation about the Brazilian Anti-Corruption Law and Game Theory at the  Office of the Comptroller General (CGU).  The speech, entitled “The Law & Economics of Law nº 12846/2013″, marked the opening of the STPC Café debate series promoted by the Secretariat of Transarency and Corruption Prevention from CGU.

Judicial Review of Financing Agreements in Sanitation

Partner Ivo T. Gico Jr. spoke about “Unconscionability and excessive burden on financing agreements in the sanitation market” at the Brazilian Association of Sanitation Services for Municipalities 44th Annual Conference. Representatives from over 3.000 municipalities participated at the event in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Managers from all over the country took the opportunity to debate the issue and ask questions.
